About
We’re a creative company using storytelling to spark connection and healing. Our work is rooted in authenticity, empathy, and the power of honest conversation.

Our Story
The name Leaning Tree came from a tree growing boldly out over a mountainside—different from the rest—and it became a symbol for our work: honoring truth, individuality, and the power of stories that grow in their own direction.
At the heart of our business is conversation—honest, courageous, and healing. What began as a music agency has evolved into a purpose-driven creative company centered around storytelling, personal healing, and connection. From hosting WOMAN, a live show and podcast that blends music with meaningful dialogue about women's experiences—especially those navigating personal healing—to developing writing programs for people who are incarcerated, every project is designed to uncover the truths we often avoid. With a small but mighty production team, we also partner with other brands to create thoughtful, high-impact content. Whether through music, media, or written word, everything we do is rooted in the power of stories.
Our Core Values
Seeking and speaking truth is at the core of everything we do. We believe truth—no matter how uncomfortable—is where real connection, growth, and healing begin. Whether it’s through a live show, a podcast conversation, or a written story, we strive to create space for voices that are often unheard or overlooked.
Truth-telling takes courage, and we honor that courage in every project we take on. We don’t shy away from the hard topics—instead, we lean in with compassion, curiosity, and respect. By holding space for truth, we invite others to do the same, creating ripple effects of honesty and transformation.
Truth
Seeking and speaking truth requires many perspectives, and we know that no single story holds the whole picture. That’s why we create spaces where people feel safe, seen, and heard, no matter their background or experience.
We’re committed to listening deeply and honoring the differences that make us human. Togetherness, for us, means showing up with curiosity instead of judgment, and making room for every voice at the table. It’s in the sharing of diverse experiences that real understanding and transformation take root.
